Diana Cruz is a professional Tango Dancer and versatile artist.
Die in Paraguay geborene Diana Cruz ist nicht nur eine begabte Tänzerin, sondern auch eine engagierte Bewegungslehrerin. Ihre multidisziplinären Fähigkeiten und ihre Kenntnisse der Biomechanik machen sie zu einer einzigartigen Künstlerin und Lehrerin. Sie hat für renommierte Ballett- und Tanzkompanien in Paraguay, Argentinien und den USA getanzt.
Vor allem der Tango entfachte ihre Leidenschaft und sie gründete mit dem Tangotänzer Nick Jones das Ensemble NaturalTango. Gemeinsam tourten sie durch Nord- und Südamerika, Europa, Asien und Australien.
Diana Cruz präsentiert sich auf ihrer eigenen Website als Tangotänzerin, Fotomodell, Schuhdesignerin und darüber hinaus als ihre eigene Schöpferin tango-bezogener Bewegungskonzepte, insbesonders Tangotensegrity™ als konzeptioneller Rahmen für die Beziehung zweier Körper, die sich durch die Umarmung artikulieren und deren Struktur, Mechanik und Dynamik eine vollständige Funktionseinheit bilden.

The Paraguay born Diana Cruz is not only a talented dancer, but also a dedicated movement teacher. Her multidisciplinary skills and knowledge of biomechanics make her a unique artist and teacher. She has danced for renowned ballet and dance companies in Paraguay, Argentina and the USA.
Tango in particular sparked her passion and she joined tango dancer Nick Jones to form the NaturalTango ensemble. Together they have toured North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Diana Cruz presents herself on her own website as Tango Dancer, photo model, shoe-designer, and beyond that, as her own creator of tango-related movement concepts, namely Tangotensegrity™ as a conceptual framework for addressing the relationship of two bodies articulated by the embrace, and whose structure, mechanics and dynamics form a complete functional unit.
